This was a special and tough year and it gave me not much time for Renderbricks.
I found some time to get back to my rendering digital LEGO® research I started in 2014 with MODO and finally it went big by getting into touch with the programmer of Mecabricks end of 2014.
We have fundamentally influenced the LEGO community with our research and development, and I use LEGO as a great medium for teaching animation/VFX at the Mediadesign Hochschule with Autodesk Maya/Arnold/Redshift and Blender.
Actually, Mecabricks is using a pretty neat workflow with Blender what allows photoreal LEGO rendering out of the box in a few minutes. It would be great to have something similar to Redshift.
Today I got back to an older scene based on a MOC (My Own Creation) by Chris McVeigh. He's well known in the community for his brilliant builds what gave him a master builder position in Billund.
The scene was rendered on my new XMG NEO 15 with RTX 2070 Super and Redshift 3.0.35. Redshift rocks the bricks. 😉
